Welcome to AI Money Vault ("the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
AI Money Vault is a personal finance tracking application that helps users record expenses, income, transfers, and other financial transactions. The App offers:
- Voice-powered transaction entry
- AI-assisted receipt scanning
- AI financial chat assistant
- Multi-currency support with real-time exchange rates
- Statistics and spending analytics
- Cloud backup and sync (optional)
2. User Accounts
You may use the App anonymously or sign in with Google or Apple. By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Free Tier
The App offers a free tier with limited access to AI features (voice input, receipt scanning, AI chat). Free usage is subject to monthly limits.
Premium Subscription
- Available as monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings
- Yearly subscriptions are offered at a discounted rate compared to monthly billing
Refunds: All purchases are processed through Apple. Refund requests should be directed to Apple support. We do not handle payment information directly.
4. AI Features
- AI-powered features (voice parsing, receipt scanning, chat) use AI via our secure server proxy
- AI interpretation may not always be accurate — always verify AI-generated transactions before confirming
- Voice recordings are processed locally on your device; only transcribed text is sent for AI processing
- We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue AI features at any time
- AI features require an internet connection
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
- Abuse AI features (excessive automated requests, prompt injection attempts)
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
- Use the referral system fraudulently (fake accounts, self-referrals)
- Transmit malicious data or attempt to compromise App security
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By default, all financial data is stored locally on your device. Cloud sync is optional and requires authentication.
When usage analytics is enabled, anonymized usage patterns may be used to improve AI and voice recognition features. No raw financial content is collected for this purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, features, and content, is owned by the developer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy of AI-generated data, exchange rates, or financial calculations
- Continuous availability of cloud sync, AI features, or any specific functionality
Not financial advice. The App is a tracking and organizational tool. It does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses based on App data or AI suggestions
- Data loss due to device failure, App bugs, or cloud sync issues
- Service interruptions or feature changes
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, abuse AI features, or engage in fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Local data remains on your device.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
